December 16, 2002-Since Flareclaw is being lazy at this point in time, I'll be aiding him in making this site. My name is Wing Zero Alpha, and though I'm fairly new to HTML, I'll do what I can. Just a small update for today. Kira Yamato's profile has been updated in the character section. Aslan Zara and Frei Alstair profiles are in the making for now, though they should appear by next week.
Onto some other news, Gundam related. Cartoon Network will be showing the motion picture Char's Counterattack on January 4th in their Adult Swim block at midnight. As well, the last four episodes of Zoids: Guardian Force will also be aired on that afternoon. However, be cautious of any schedule changes, which WB/CN are notorious for.
November 28, 2002-The site still isn`t finished yet, but we`re working on it! The new layout is now up for the main page, and we`re still tweaking on it a bit. Over the next few days you`ll notice a bunch of new images and stuff added, making the site a lot prettier. We`re also trying to get all the various sections up ASAP, so just hold on for a little longer.
September 13, 2002-Site is now officially open! Not all sections have been completed yet, however the staff is working furiously to complete all the info. Currently, we have the mecha and story sections up, with the multimedia and character sections coming soon!
The following is all the information on Gundam SEED we have at the time. We will constantly update this as more information is released.
-The
series is going to be directed by the acclaimed Mitsuo Fukuda, who
has worked on many previous Sunrise projects in the past.
-The leading protagonist of the series is a young man named
Kira Yamato, along with another man who goes by the name of Asuran Zara, who is apparently used to be Kira's best friend and is now his rival. Not to mention there is a handful of other characters.
-There are apparently two "races" in SEED. One are the Coordinators; the "newtypes" of the series. The other "lesser-humans" will be known as the Naturals. The colonist create an organization known as ZAFT, which is similar to Zeon and Oz. Similar to UC, the earth has it's own government, called the Earth Alliance.
-Sorry for all you UC fans, but SEED has been confirmed as another alternate universe, this time taking place in C.E. 70, which stands for Cosmic Era.
-The complete storyline of SEED has not been completely revealed, but Sunrise has called it a "remake" of First Gundam. Indeed, there are many similarities, such as the uniforms, the mecha, etc.
-There are five main Gundams in the series, each with its own abilities and special techniques.
-There is also a side stoty to SEED which has just started in the magazine "Gundam Ace". The side story, which is titled "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Astray", follows the exploits of the Gundam Astray, which is a unit that apparently ha ssomething to do with the Earth Alliance. | |
